The following courses have been approved by the Mathematics Department as science electives for the BS degree:
- Any course in BIO, CHEM, PHYS, CSC, DA, ENV, ENGR, CE
- Rigorous prob/stats: MATH 309, MATH 314, ECON 363, HSSS203
- Any MATH 400-level or above (taken in excess of the required math coursework)
- Any course that satisfies the "Foundations in Natural Science" requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum
This list is current as of Fall 2023 but is subject to change. If you are unclear whether a particular course will count towards this requirement, contact the mathematics department advisor.
