The minor requires six courses in all:
- Two calculus courses
- Math 248 or CSC 210 (but not both)
- Three additional mathematics courses at calculus level or higher, at least two of which are chosen from Math 301, 321, 322 and courses at the 400 level or above.
Note: Math 108, 110, 114, 168, 175, and 186 do not count towards the minor. These courses are below calculus level. Please consult the Mathematics department's Director of Undergraduate Studies if you need clarification on the minor requirements.
Many degree programs' requirements at Catholic University include some of the required six courses in the minor. Interested students in those concentrations should consider taking the additional mathematics courses needed to complete the minor.
