Registration for Summer 2024!

  • You can start the course anytime after May 20 and it must be completed by August 12. We recommend registering early to get started on the course. Registration for the course is open until July 26.

Incoming Freshmen:

  1. Speak with your advisor about which course you need.
  2. You need to have approval for taking a summer class AND because of the special dates of this class, you need permission to register. This is simple! 

    • Go to http://bit.ly/2rQAcgp  and fill out the form. It's only a few questions, but you do need to be logged into your CUA email, and you need your ID number (7 digits). 

    • You will receive an email from the CUA Math Department, on your CUA email within 1-2 business days stating that you have permission to sign up for the online course.

    • Make sure to fill out the NSF Scholarship Application Form for 2024 to get the course for free. We encourage you to complete the consent forms and to join us in the NSF Research about help-seeking behavior! 
  3. Register through Cardinal Station. When enrolling, choose "SUMMER 2024" for the semester and then search for Math 11 or Math 21. The course is part of the summer semester but follows the dates above.

Returning Students:

If you have trouble registering, you may need to have approval for registration because of the special dates for this class. Please use contact us. We will get permission from the Dean's Office and will email you when you can register.

Few things to remember!

  • Make sure to register for the correct course! Ask your advisor which calculus class you need. They are not interchangeable!

    • Math 11 is a preparation for Math 111

    • Math 21 is a preparation for Math 121

  • Book: You do not need to purchase a book. An eBook is included with the homework platform and is covered in your tuition.

  • IMPORTANT! The course will open on May 20 on Blackboard. You will not be able to access it before then. HOWEVER, you can begin the course any time between May 20 through August 12.
